Aborting or Cancelling Jobs

If a job has been created on the system but has been cancelled before the driver/s have left for collection then this job will need to be marked as cancelled on the system. For movements which have begun and been cancelled this would need to be aborted on the system, this includes jobs where the vehicle could not be found.

Aborting Jobs

There are two ways to abort an open job through the CDN, either on the handheld or on the system. If aborted on the handheld the information will automatically update on the system, but if manually aborting you will need to start by opening the job details. (Note - You will be unable to abort a job if it has not been assigned to a driver).

Once you have the job open select 'abort' in the vehicle field and then select a reason for abort and select or unselect the relevant vehicle/s which are due to be aborted.

Once the job has been aborted its status will be 'non-complete' and can be found under 'logistics' - 'my jobs' - 'aborted jobs'. For information on the next step for a job at this stage see invoicing.

Cancelling Jobs

A job can be cancelled at any stage before it has been marked as delivered. To cancel a job you will need to open up the job details and select 'cancel' in the actions box, give a reason for the cancel and confirm.

Once cancelled the job can be found at 'logistics' - 'my jobs' - 'cancelled jobs'. To progress from this stage see invoicing.
