Rate Cards

Setting up your own rate cards on the CDN allows you have varying rates of price for different clients and different types of work, i.e driven / transported / covered transport / multi-car. To set up a new rate card select 'new' - 'new rates' - 'rate card'. This will take you to the screen seen below.

  • Rate name is the name you wish to give to the new rate card
  • Fixed cost is the set amount to be added on to the cost of each job on top of mileage (prices done in pence so for £30 enter 3000)
  • Transporter base is the base pence per mile (prices done in pence - e.g £1 per mile base enter 100)
  • Markup is the percentage to be added for customer price (markup done in percentage -e.g for 25% markup enter 1.25)

As well as these you will need to add at least one mileage multiplier. This is so you can set different price bands for varying mileages. To set a mileage multiplier select add and fill in the following screen.

In 'mileage' enter the value of the start of the next price bracket and in 'multiplier' add the pence per mile for that new price bracket. In the example below the mileage base has been set a £1 per/mile and the next price bracket has been set at £1.10 per/mile on movements over 100 miles. The fixed cost has been set at £30, base price at £1 per/mile and the markup at 25%.

For this example an 80 mile movement would pay the transporter £110 (80 x 100 pence per mile + £30 fixed cost) and the customer price would be £137.50 (£110 transporter price plus 25% markup)
