Splitting a Job

The split job feature is for if a movement or load has been created and needs to be split into seperate jobs. It can also be a quicker way of creating multiple loads with the same destinations. A job can only be split before it has been allocated to a fleet whilst you are creating the job.

To split the job you will need to select 'split job' underneath the vehicles field. *Please note - only movements with more than 1 vehicle can be split.

This will bring up the following screen, from here click and drag the vehicles which will make up the new job and click 'confirm split'.

Then you have the option to 'view all jobs', return to the 'current job' or go to the 'new job'.

The newly created job will have the same job number as the original but with a .1 at the end (e.g job number CDN1045 if split the new job would be CDN1045.1) Once a job has been split the 2 new jobs are to be treated as seperate movements and any changes to one will not affect the other/s on the system.
