After an initial movement from collection to delivery has been saved or booked onto the system circumstances may dictate that the job cannot simply be done by one driver from collection straight to delivery. This is where the tranship and reassign features can be used to reflect any changes in the actual movement.
Transhipping a Job
A tranship in a movement is a stop off location that the vehicle is to be signed into before reaching the end destination, often this will be an overnight stop or a holding area for a few days inbetween journeys. A tranship can be used in 2 ways, either as part of the plan prior to the movement or inserted as the job progresses. Before doing either of these a tranship location must be set up first.
To create a new saved tranship select 'new' - 'new location' - 'tranship location'. The information needed is the same as for a saved destination and is done in the same way, i.e entering postcode, select 'find' and filling in the other relevant contact details.

Enter a quickcode and then save the new tranship location. To view or edit the details of this tranship at a later date it can be found under 'community' - 'locations' - 'tranship locations'.
A job cannot be transhipped until it has been allocated to a fleet, once this is done select the tranship option from the green action buttons on the right hand side of the screen when the job is open.

Begin typing in the quick code of the tranship location and select it from the dropdown list, adding any notes if required.

If you have done this before assigning the job to a driver it will appear as a second journey as seen below.

From here you treat each line as a seperate journey and progress through the exact same stages as shown in updating and tracking a job. If you are transhipping a job after it has been sent or collected then follow the exact same steps as before, but in this case you will need to re-update the first journey if the vehicle has already been collected. It is important to make sure that you re-update so that the new details for the first journey from collection to tranship can be sent to the drivers handheld or email. (Please note - a job cannot be transhipped if the handheld status has proceeded past 'collected' or if it has been manually marked as delivered on the system).
Reassigning a Job
To reassign a job which has already been assigned to another driver you must open the job details, here you will have the option to 'reassign'.

Click this and select the desired driver and the details will be emailed or sent to their handheld depending on whether they are an email workforce driver or a mobile workforce driver. (Email workforce drivers will appear with an * next to their name)
