Once you have set up your intial user you may wish to add multiple users for the rest of your team.
- Go to Setup - Users
- Your current list of Users will display. Above this list you will see a Tab saying New user in Green.
- Select the New User tab.
- All areas of the CDN site fields marked with orange text are mandatory.
- Create a User Name, which you will use each time you login to vinDISPATCH
- Enter your First name, last name and email.
- Create a password for when you login.
- Select your time zone. This will then audit any work you do on vinDISPATCH in your correct time zone.
- Make a note of the username and password as these will be needed for logging on to the system for the new user.
- Then select the roles you wish to allocate to this new user.
- On the help web page under ‘Setting up Users’ is a list of what access each of the roles will allow, it is important to ensure that each user is given access to the relevant information and capabilities on the system.
- Admin – Allows use of Dashboard, Jobs, Plan, Users, Carrier Networks
- Accounts - Allows access to Setup > Accounts > Chart of Accounts, for Xero intergration
- Developer – Adds access to the Developer menus to manage web hooks
- Logistics – Allows use of Dashboard, Networks, Movements, Locate Workforce, email, Devices
- Viewer - Login only with read only access to jobs
- Accountant – Adds access to Contracts menus
- If you require more than one role simply hold the control key down whilst selecting multiple roles
- The user enabled check box will need to be selected
- If you would like this User to receive New job email alerts on the email address provided, select this box also
- Ensure to SAVE to complete this.
- To disable a User uncheck the user is enabled box. This can always be re-verted back, by going in to ‘Disabled Users’ and checking the enable user box again.
